Camo Style Athleisure

Drum roll, please! It’s here! I’m finally getting my game on for style posts. This means that I’m back on track with the lovely ladies of The Blended Blog and the Wednesday style link-up. Make sure you add your post below.

It must be that the fall season is upon us. Fall and winter fashion is my love language and I’m getting excited to create new looks. When it’s hot I want to live in workout wear which if the truth be told is what helped to spawn my new love for athleisure wear. As I said in Monday’s post I’m really trying to revamp my wardrobe to be more one style {casual} wear.

camo athleisure

All the things in this look are becoming my faves right now. Although I can’t quite wear this to work, I think I can play with it a little “make it work” in the words of Tim Gunn. {You are watching Project Runway this season, aren’t you}?

leggings + camo

The new line from Target, A New Day, has some promising ponte pants that I think are the perfect look to be casual and put together at the office since I can’t pull off these leggings at the office. When I say promising I mean I have them in navy and black already. I wore the navy pair to work yesterday. Oh, the comfort! Plus it was the beginning of putting together the look I’m going for this season.

Here’s a start as I try to transition into fall when the temps are still in the 90’s. Oh, and can I say I adore mules!
It’s still a little too hot in Texas for the long-sleeved cardigan so I’d probably hangout more like this look.
black sneakers
Y’all, I’m loving these black slip-ons too. They are perfect for an athleisure look but I’ve already taken the plunge and wore them to work with a skirt. I didn’t have to ask forgiveness so I think I’m good {for now} with converting to a more casual style and wearing these type of shoes. I’m calling it a win!

What are you thoughts on athleisure? Love it/Hate it? Where it or no? Where do you shop for your favorite pieces for an athleisure look. Let me hear ya in the comments, friends.
You can shop my pieces at Target {of course}!

In case you missed my post on Monday {here}, I wanted to make sure you know you are cordially invited to the Common Threads Challenge. All the details are in this post. Hope you’ll join us during the month of October for this fun little challenge.
Hope you have the most beautiful day, friends!
