TGIF! I love Fridays. The end of the work week and looking ahead to the weekend makes me smile. Some Fridays I indulge in a tall flat white from Starbucks on my way to work as a little celebration. Not every Friday but a few. Today I’m off work because I’m indulging in a day of doctor’s appointments. Not my favorite way to spend the day but it has to be done. Typically, I do these appointments in August around my birhtday. In a strange sense of humor I say I’m taking the day as my birthday present to see the doctor. It was hectic last summer and I never got the appoinments made so I thought January would be a great time to get these knocked out. Hopefully, all is well!

On Monday I read this post by Katie from Preppy Empty Nester. I laughed out loud through the entire post. Then I promptly became a follower because I could use more humor in my life. My little introverted self is witty in real life but not in print so I admire those who have that skill set.

Amber from Wildbloom shared a post about her word for the quarter. I loved this idea because it gives a marking point to go back and re-evaluate in a smaller incriment of time instead of waiting until December.

I have to confess I have officially joined the Insta Pot craze and I am not sorry. No, not at all. I love it, wholeheartedly. When I read this post from Cotter Crunch about oatmeal in the Insta Pot I was totally drooling and hope to try it very soon!

During 2018, I am planning to find and follow some new blogs. One that I recently stumbled across is Brighton the Day. This little beauty hails from Dallas so I had to become an immediate follower {stalker} or whatever you might name it. Anyway, Brighton shared a post about 5 Books to Motivate you in 2018 + she wore a fab outfit. The post is here.
