Unboxing with Target Beauty

Hey there, friends! I’m excited to do a little unboxing {via pictures} today with Target Beauty. Truth is I’m not exactly sure how I got on Target’s email list but I did. That’s how it happened. They sent me an email about two different Beauty Boxes so I decided to jump on it. I mean they were only $7 bucks. Can’t go wrong, right? Plus I have a red card and there was free shipping so I think I scored.

Here’s what I received in the mail way sooner than the projected delivery date. That’s another plus!

So what’s in the box?

Hello! New Leaf…you can get yours at Target.com/BeautyBox. On the other side of this insert is a $3 coupon off of $15 of cosmetics, skin care or hair care. Another great deal!

Ok, here’s the reveal. Inside I found Acure Ultra-Hydrating Shampoo and Conditioner. Tried them on Sunday evening when I washed my hair and I like the results so far. These were for color-treated hair, which I have plus there are no sulfates. I have stopped using products with sulfates because they dry my hair out terribly. Win-Win

Cover Girl Total Tease Mascara was also a win for me. I have liked and used various CG mascaras for years. I typically use them as a base and then add other mascara products to layer my lashes.

Nivea In-Shower Body Lotion seems to be working well for me to soften my skin in the shower. Also helps to cut down on my lotioning after I’m out of the shower, which is another for the win column.

Sensodyne ProNamel Strong and Bright Toothpaste is a product I had wanted to try. So far this is another for the win column and it is helping my sensitive teeth. {I think this box is a winner, don’t you}!?

Simple Micellar Water is supposed to remove makeup and it was okay in that area except when it came to mascara. It did not do the job. I personally would not spend the money and purchase this product. Definitely not in the win category for me.

Garnier Skin Active Moisture Bomb is a light moisturizer. I’ve used it a couple of times. Again, it’s just okay and didn’t wow me that much. Not really a win or lose from what I can tell.

up & up Premium Cotton Rounds are something I don’t really like. It’s not the brand, it’s just that I prefer cotton balls. Not a win.

Overall, I like this little beauty box and I would purchase again. If you’re interested in trying some products then I would give it a whirl. Remember there is more than one option, which I totally love. Go to Target.com/BeautyBox.

  • I wish our supermarkets did boxes like this! Can I just say that the simple Eye make up remover is amazing. I use it all the time and it's cheap as chips! xx www.vanityandmestyle.com
    • That would be a great idea for supermarkets for sure! I didn't have the same results with the Simple product but now I'm going to retry it!
  • Living on Cloud Nine
I'm not one to get it box subscriptions but this one has been my favorite ever since Our Sarah told me about it! Fun stuff pretty lady!
    • I think this one if my fave of all that I've tried. Sarah first told me about it too and then I lost track of getting signed up. On the right track now.
  • I'm totally intrigued by the in-shower lotion. I always skip that step when I get out of the shower so maybe this could get me to actually moisturize!
    • You should try it. It really does work!
  • I've gotten this a few times, but always miss it! Dang, they always have stuff in there that you would normally not try but love when you do!
    • Get you one, friend! They are still available.
  • What a fabulous box, Carrie!! Thanks for the info! XOXO Jodie www.jtouchofstyle.com

This box looks lovely! Those Acure products I'd like to try!! I didn't even know Target had a box like this! Carrie curlycraftymom.com
    • It's a super fun little box. On my next trip to Target I'm picking up the Acure shampoo and conditioner. Thanks for stopping by!
  • Whoa! What a haul! Well done Target. www.shesleaninginblog.com
    • Gotta love, Target! Thanks for stopping by!
  • Wow, so many great products! I looked into doing this once but there was a waiting list, and then I forgot all about it. Will have to check it out again!
    • It's a fun little box!
  • All of that for $7 is a win! Though I have sensitive skin and would probably skip the skincare stuff, I think everything else sounds great. It's too bad we don't have a Target because my tween here would think this was such a treat every month or whenever it comes.
    • Shoot! I didn't know Target wasn't available in Canada. That's a bummer!
  • This sounds awesome! I'm loving my Ipsy box right now, but this is definitely tempting!

I've gotten one Target Beauty Box - and I recently ordered another, so it should be here soon. I'm glad you loved most of your items. It's a great deal, and a nice way to try new products. -Lauren www.shootingstarsmag.net
