I remember having a huge crush on velvet when I was young. About the only time I was able to truly embrace that crush was during Christmas. Now that was the time when velvet dresses were the jam. I’m sure I was probably joyfully swooning in those days. Kinda like the present as I swoon over this velvet top.
How about an adult velvet look that could be Christmas or not or a night out with your husband. I’m raising my hand and saying I want that one. Funny how we change as we grow up {read get older}.
These little bell sleeves just make me giddy and want to shimmy in this skirt. How fun, right?
And then there is the back. It’s pretty fabulous!
I adore this velvet top for several reasons. I love that it’s fitted and fits me without being over the top tight. The back V-cut is divine. It’s low enough to be appropriate and yet make a girl feel just a little sexy. The sleeves. What can I say? I feel pretty in a bell sleeve that is for sure.
