TBB Asks: Keep Me Entertained

Hello there, ASFit Friends {my new name for you sweet readers and one which comes with much affection}! I’m so glad you’re here! It’s so great to start out a New Year and 2019 with you! Thank you for reading and following along with me. Truly I’m humbled to have you here reading this little blog of mine.

As you may recall, I’m a contributor at The Blended Blog. Some of the ladies who are part of the collective were my first blogging friends. I love our little collective and the beautiful way they all support one another and the blogging community at large. If you have not stopped by The Blended Blog today or linked up with us, then this is your year! The first Monday of the month is always TBB Asks. So here’s what’s up for today.

Multiple readings of favorite books: I’m typically not a re-reader, but there are a few books I have read more than once. The ones I can remember are The Hiding Place, Number the Stars, Little House in the Big Woods, Little House on the Prairie, and 7: An Experimental Mutiny Against Excess.

Favorite book/author of all time: My all-time favorite book is The Hiding Place by Corrie ten Boom. I read another book or two by her, but this is my favorite by her and anyone else. Always brings about conviction in my heart.

A favorite TV show to binge: The Man in the High Castle. Thank you Amazon Prime Membership

Favorite new-ish TV show: The Titan Games {ok, I haven’t watched it yet, but that’s because I forgot it was on Thursday night. I’m coming for you this week though}! Also, The Rock is the host and kinda like Dwayne Johnson, so there you go.

Favorite movie of all time: It’s a Wonderful Life

It's a Wonderful Life Poster

Movie looking forward to watching: There are a few {ok, lots} on my to see list. I guess there will be some date nights with the hubby to watch these. What Men Want is not a must see in the theater, but I did like What Women Want back in the day with Mel Gibson, so I anticipate it will be similar and funny too. I’ve become a little bit of an Avenger fan, so I believe will be seeing Captain Marvel and Avengers: Endgame and since we love all things WWII {as you may have guessed already}, we’ll be checking out Tom Hanks in Greyhound. There will be others too…stay tuned.

First concert attended: The Eagles

Ultimate concert: I think it would have to be Britney Spears with Deena {Shoes to Shiraz}. She LOVES Britney and I image it would be a blast to go with her. Don’t believe me? Check out this post and I think you’ll agree!

Favorite music artist/band: I guess I’ll go with my husband and claim George Strait as one of my favorites because heaven knows we listen to him A LOT. I also love The Randy Rogers Band if I’m in the country vein.

How do you listen: When I’m riding with my hubby in the truck, we always stream. In my car, I’m a radio, channel flipping gal. Why? Because I have not installed any music apps to stream via the Bluetooth. Time to move into 2019 and get ‘er done!

I guess that’s it, ASFit Friends! I hope you check out the link up and find some new friends in 2019. Hope to see you back later this week!

blessings + hugs ~ Carrie

  • It's a Wonderful Life is one of my favorite holiday movies, and I just saw it for the first time like 2 years ago! Avengers and Captain Marvel are on my movie list this year too. I've never heard of Greyhound but I do love Tom Hanks so I'll have to look it up!
