Happy May Basket Day! At least when I was a kid growing up in the Mid-West we would deliver May Baskets full of candy and popcorn to our friends and neighbors. It was such a fun day. Up north the month of May typically ushers in multitudes of flowers that begin to bloom from the abundance of rain {or melting snow} during the month of April. This has been the case in Texas at our home; the flowers are blooming! We have roses and a variety of flowers blooming beautifully every day.
Since today the Style Me Bloggers are linking up and featuring our takes on April Showers brings May Flowers, I thought I would share some of our roses that are blooming so beautifully right now. We have had quite a bit of rain and the lay of the land looks very lush {for Texas} right now. Unfortunately, because Texas is not the rain capital of the world or the US, I really have to rain gear but an umbrella, so I’m going to focus on flowers today.
Since Create28 Lovely Spring Looks ended this week and yesterday I featured my top three favorite looks, I decided to post another look that didn’t make my top three but did make my top five. This floral top is new and I love to pattern mix it with my favorite windowpane pixie pants.
