Welcome back to another week of Whatever is Lovely. This is post #11 for 2016. So glad you’re here for one of my favorite posts each week!
1. Happy May Basket Day, friends! Did you celebrate this when you were growing up? It was such a fun day when I was a kid because we would deliver little baskets filled with candy and popcorn to friends in the neighborhood. There are different traditions and basket styles depending on where you live. Maybe you haven’t ever celebrated this special little day. I don’t recall anyone in Texas being aware of the tradition but in Iowa it was a big deal. Need some ideas for your May Basket Day? I found this post on Pinterest and thought I would share it. Lots of ideas here, friends!

2. A favorite post I read this week was from Andrea who blogs at Living on Cloud Nine. Andrea is such a jewel in the blog community. She is so full of joy and leaves the BEST comments. They always make my day and make we wish I had her way of words in the written text. Okay, back to the post titled Hair and Makeup Revelations. You should read it because if you’re like me you’ll want to know her better. Read it here.
3. Shelly from The Queen in Between wrote a similar post Let’s Talk Hair & Make-up and I really enjoyed hers as well. Again, I just enjoyed getting more up and personal with Shelly. I have recently started to follow her blog via Bloglovin’ and so enjoy reading her post.
4. Are you looking for some must haves for summer? Then look no further than this post from Two Peas in a Blog. A cute top and wide leg pants sound perfect and look easy, cool and comfortable. What do you think? She’s so chic!
5. One of my new blogging friends via The Blended Blog is Abbie from Grumbling Grace. She had a guest post this week and the title caught my eye and I had to read it. Why I Don’t Shop at The Gap Anymore. I don’t know - ladies and style just seem to click so the title drew me in. I hope it will do the same for you because I’m giving nothing away on this one. Head over here to read it. I hope to hear your thoughts in the comments.
I hope you enjoy these reads and have a restful Sunday. Be blessed, friends and hope to see you back tomorrow.
