Friday Favorites: It’s About Charcoal

Frinally it’s FriYAY! Can you believe March is just marching by us? Almost ready to close the books on it and swing into sweet April with showers and hopefully flowers.

So glad you’re here, friends! I missed Friday Favorites last week, which means I’m super pumped for a new week of favorites to share. This post is all about charcoal. I simply adore charcoal products. Do you use any? If not, I hope this post will help you navigate the waters and find something you would like to try. If you’re already a fan maybe you’ll find something new. Here goes!

{ONE}

I simply adore the simplicity of a charcoal beauty bar. I use it to wash my face daily. These bars are long-lasting, which means they are economical plus I feel they work really well to clean my skin. I have used the Beautycounter bar for over a year. It’s $25.00 and worth it. Recently, I’ve discovered Limelight by Alcone and they have a charcoal bar. The price is $14.00 and I think I might just try it.

I don’t think I can function without coffee. Well, I probably could but I just don’t want to is the truth. But dang, it stains my teeth. I’ve tried white strips but after reading some reviews on charcoal whitening for teeth, I decided to take the plunge. So far the results have been good. Found this on Amazon {of course}.

The same time that I tried the Beautycounter charcoal bar, I tried the charcoal mask. It’s a love thing for sure. It’s a little pricey at $49.00 but toxins have been removed. Another option is Calily Life Organic.

Since I’m loving the charcoal teeth whitening powder, my next purchase to try is charcoal toothpaste. I think I’ll give this one a whirl.

{FIVE}

I decided to try a charcoal deodorant. I opted out of anti-perspirant a few years ago. I mean the body is made to perspire and I’m fine with it but I just don’t want to stink. I did a little research and decided to try this product. One day in and I’m loving it. I’m not stinky at the end of the day even though I smell slightly manly when I leave for work. Weighing my options and I’d rather smell a little manly {that wore off} and not stink. Priorities!

That’s all the charcoal I have for today but if you’re using a charcoal product you love, please leave me a comment.

Have the best weekend! I hope you’ll be back on Monday!

Be blessed! ~ Carrie

    You really have me wanting to try these products now!! I've heard Charcol is amazing...and so are YOU!!
  • I haven't tried any charcoal products but these all sound really neat.

    I've yet to jump on the charcoal bandwagon but I've been wanting to try. I'd have to do a test spot first to make sure my skin doesn't go crazy (which it might, I have uber sensitive skin). LOVE Schmidt's deodorant. I'll never go back! Have a nice weekend hun!
  • I want to try it on my teeth but I'm scared it'll hurt them - I have UBER sensitive teeth.
  • I've never used any charcoal products, but I'm intrigued. I have heard of the toothpaste so maybe I'll start there. Have a great weekend!
  • I've never tried a charcoal products before! As an avid coffee and red wine drinker I really need to try the teeth-whitening products for sure.
  • I just read about that mask on IG! Interesting...
  • A life without coffee is a life not worth living. Haha. I've used a charcoal bar to wash my face and I've used the Biore charcoal strips but I haven't tried anything else. The teeth whitening stuff sounds intriguing!
