Monday’s Mix ~ Mixing Color Families

During the month of October, I was a little ambitious and tried to participate in a couple of challenges that overlapped. I learned a ton about mixing and remixing, but I got a little burned out. I also found it difficult to really process and digest so many outfits. After taking a little step back, I wanted to copy a few outfits and see if I liked them on me.

One of the outfits that I found intriguing was from Greater than Rubies. This is what I am duplicating today. Honestly, I like the color combination quite a bit and it makes me think of how I could mix other pieces that I wouldn’t typically think to put together. Here’s Caitlin’s version.

Here’s my take on the outfit.

Olive skinny jeans, blush chiffon blouse, grey cardigan + leopard print flats

I do like these colors together. It felt unique and put together. It was a wear again for sure!

And just for fun…what was I doing when the hubs snapped this picture? Really? Who stands like that? Obviously, me. Enjoy!
