Create28~Day 19 Mix Three Colors Look

Three colors? This is one of my new favorite ways to style pieces in my closet. I have found so many options that it is almost overwhelming. One of my favorites is a navy cardigan with a orangish tie blouse and grey skinny pants. I love to wear leopard print wedges with this but I think leopard flats would work as well. This combination is one outfit that I feel pretty in and it boosts my confidence. It’s not edgy but it does challenge the thoughts of putting so many solid colors together. I think it’s a good marriage and we are all quite happy together. {Are you tired of my grey pants yet}? Remember I said they were a workhorse in my wardrobe and I was totally serious.

Another color combination includes the skinny olive pants, navy top and purple sweater. Again, a little different and yet it works. Notice that with both of these combination my only pattern is in the shoes. That does not mean this is the only way to add a little pattern. I simply did not have a scarf or jacket that would have added a little more interest. Also notice that each of these outfits is really the same, pants, blouse and sweater. If you remember from an early post in the series, I was going to let go of the purple sweater. I think I happy that I hung onto it and am now wearing it again after a long hiatus.

Unfortunately, I don’t have a board for this look but honestly just go try it. You’ll see it will be a little different but tons of fun.

Tomorrow the look will feature boots and/or booties. One of the best fashion pieces around this season. And the season isn’t over with so I’m sure your boots or booties are getting lots of wear.

Have a lovely day, friends!

  • I really love the first color combination! I'm a day behind, I mixed leopard with polka dots today! I'm trying to get back on track and will post to Instagram later today.

  • great post. I thought of you this morning when I got dressed, white pants, olive shirt, maroon sweater. Although not totally sure if it goes together, but at 5am it totally does :) I'm trying to not look in a mirror to double check if it does or not, lol!
