Hello, Monday! Wondering how the time change will pan out on the sleep schedule this week. Who knew an hour {+ or -} would have such an impact on a regular sleeping schedule. Oh, well…it happens every year {twice a year to be exact} and we all always survive. Now, it is just adjusting to shorter days, which makes me want to hibernate. But, anyway, back on track to the post. Today I’m styling a pink skirt and striped blouse and remixing those pieces a couple of different ways. The skirt and blouse are not new but when they came home they were in a bag from The Limited.
I got a little inspired by Jen who blogs at Fashionably Employed. She wore her bright pink skirt and I learned that olive-green can work with this color of pink. You can check out her post here. I going to try that in the future, but I’m linking this post at The Lovely Lookbook at Greater than Rubies and this month the theme is stripes. So, olive-green will have to wait a little longer because I have nothing striped in olive-green. Although I have several striped tops, I chose this blouse because I wanted to feature what I would wear to work.
Here’s the base pieces.

Yep, I think I could wear this to work. We are pretty casual and this would be acceptable, but I wouldn’t try to pull it off on a regular basis. It’s a once in a while kinda look.

Okay, I would be much more comfortable with a denim jacket instead of a puffer vest. Verdict = definite wear to work attire.

That’s a wrap, friends! Yes, I could have featured this skirt and blouse a few other ways but I decided to keep it short and sweet today. Hope your day is lovely. As always, I would love to hear your thoughts.
Before I take off…are you interested in the next Style Me Challenge with Alison {and now Cyndi Spivey}? Here’s the details.
