Pin It & Did It + Link-up

Hey, friends! Hope you had a lovely weekend and are ready for a new week. The last week of October is upon us and Create28 is quickly coming to a close. Today, Whitney, Casey and I will be featuring our favorite Pinterest look. I don’t know about you, but I have been perusing Pinterest a little too much lately. I have especially been gravitating toward a few color palettes this season. The rich jewel tones continue to capture my attention as I try not to drool all over my computer as I take in some great style. But I’m also loving the color combo in the photo below.

I was completely inspired by this look. I adore these colors together! It is totally simple and chic.

Using the color palette, I added booties and a scarf to make it a little more my own.

This pretty color palette can be worn in a variety of ways. The original look has much more feminine sweater and shoes. Since my sweater is a menswear style, I chose to add booties but I would opt out of those and into heels or flats for another look. These are the little things that create more looks by making simple changes. It’s easy to wear different shoes and accessories which create a different tone to your look while still incorporating the same base pieces.
