Brrr…just how it should feel at Christmastime, right? I grew up with it being cold outside and cannot even remember a Christmas without snow. Snow was typically plentiful and added to the festiveness of the season. Life in Texas at Christmastime can be vastly different than Iowa. But regardless, winter is the season of cozy!
What did we always have in the winter besides snow? Coats, hats, gloves and layers. Lots of layers especially with a turtleneck somewhere in the mix. I loved coats growing up but didn’t see a need for something super heavy once I moved to Texas. But alas, when those cold days come to pass, I want to be toasty. {Cold = teens and 20’s here in North Texas} and that’s exactly what happened this past Sunday. As you can see the sun was out, hence the squinty face.
Enter this perfect coat from Rosegal. It’s a great length because I can wear long sweaters without them hanging out underneath my coat making me look a little odd. It has a hood, which is a plus to help block out the wind. And it’s a great plaid pattern. This coat is a perfect win for me {and probably you too}! What’s also great about this is the option to add tons of colors when it comes to scarves, hats and gloves. The sky is the limit here.
This is the perfect coat to dress up or down. It’s a great look here with skinny jeans and booties but I would totally wear this with a dress or skirt to work or dressy event.
We snapped these pictures on Sunday when it was a tad chilly to us Texans but I was toasty warm. The wind was super strong so I loved having a hood to keep it off my neck.
So this girl is toasty and cozy in this great little coat from Rosegal. It was gifted to me but all opinions are my own. Thanks Rosegal for a perfect coat!
Merry Christmas, friends! I hope you have a cozy look to link-up!
