Hello sweet friends! Here we are at T -5 to Christmas! Are you ready? I have to admit that I am struggling to be ready. I tried to mix up and bake some cookies and none of that worked.at.all! Major fail! Who knew that English walnuts would actually ruin my favorite cookies that actually need black walnuts? And guess what? Texas doesn’t grow black walnuts. I don’t have any more from home {Iowa}. I’m on the hunt for some though because I need me some Ice Box Cookies.
And why do hubbies have to be so darn hard to shop for? I mean I have nothing! Everyone else was taken care of right after Thanksgiving. I really have no ideas for him. Is that sad or normal? Talk to me, friends!
Alright enough of that! Sharing a casual Friday look from work last week. Oh, and I want to share about some horrible people {women who hate women} at work but I’ll refrain. My flesh is showing uo and my frustration is showing. Instead I’m rushing to my blogging buddies who are kind and encouraging. I feel blessed to know them and have them in my life. But I REALLY need your prayers so I don’t lose my mind over the women haters. Seriously!
It was cold last Friday so I was able to pull out my favorite casual jacket out and wear it. I love the mix of camo and fur. It’s so fun! I feel kinda young, hip and dare I say a little edgy when I wear. Gives me back my spunk, sass and attitude. I’m hoping that’s good attitude, friends.
Fridays are kinda a hair up day especially when I need to wash it but I either forget or just don’t want to it. Anybody else ever in that boat?
I just picked up this little pullover at Target. On sale for $12. Scored because I needed a sweater that wasn’t actually a cardigan. Love cardigans but I need a little versatility.
Simple pullover with skinnies and booties for a relaxed Friday. Way to end the work week. All the favorites!
What are your favorite casual pieces for a Friday at work? What about the pieces that give you back your spunk or sass? Let me hear you, friends!
Hope you’re ready to Christmas and not a slacker like me this year. I hope it’s been a beautiful season for you so far.
Ok, time to link up your fab looks!
Be blessed! ~ Carrie
