Frinally! FriYAY! TGIF…that’s all I have to say about that. The weekend has arrived and I’m looking forward to a couple of things. Tomorrow is my hubby’s birthday, so that will definitely mean cake. We are planning to go to eat with some friends, so that will mean some good food and conversations. Maybe we will see the sun. I certainly hope so because I am feeling trapped in pit of overcast sky that is killing any tad of joy I had running around in my body.
But let’s just be happy for the favorites today! Okay? Deal, friends!
{ONE}
Modern Mrs. Darcy. I almost need to stop reading her blog because I want to read everything she suggests. Then there are the e-book deals she posts daily. As if that isn’t a challenge to my purchasing self-control! Thankful for the our local public library which amazingly has a vast selection of excellent books and many that she suggests, otherwise I would be broke. I loved this post about 50 contemporary books every women should read. No, I’m not planning to read them all but I did find a few that I want to read this year.
{TWO}
Love God Greatly is hosting a Bible study about Fear & Anxiety. Who doesn’t need a little truth in those categories? I for one know I need some so I going to dive in and maybe even get involved in a FB group for accountability. I really don’t need one more thing but this is a good thing that I probably do need.

{THREE}
The Bright Hour: A Memoir of Living and Dying. Yes, this book was suggested by Modern Mrs. Darcy. I was surprised to get it so quickly from the library though. I’m not a fast reader but I finished in this one in about three days. Ok, not three days solid but reading about an hour a day. I am a slow reader…It’s good, it’s sad, it’s read life that makes you think about your life. Read it because you’ll be glad you did.

New coffee? Yes, please! My husband has been wanting to try Black Rifle Coffee for a while. He finally ordered some and I think it’s pretty darn good. The company was started by veterans and we believe in supporting them especially since they have made sacrifices for us. We know this first hand.
{FIVE}
Target candle sticks. I saw these one day on Target run one day, but I didn’t purchase them. Instead I made a mental note that I probably should pick them up in the future. Guess what? They were in the Target ad this week and what do you know, they look great on our mantle.
{BONUS TIME}
My sweet blogging friend Whitney has been in Orlando at Disney World. I have been following her on Inst and have loved her stories. Thought I’d share one my faves she posted on Instagram.
A few of my looks from this week that I posted on Instagram.
I bought the trench coat and I have to say that I LOVE it. It was 50% off + an extra 40% off. Great deal!!
On Tuesday when I arrived home after work, there was a package on my door step. Inside was this fun shirt from my sweet blogging friend, Sarah {Foxy’s Domestic Side}, which she made herself. She’s awesome like that, friends! Oh, my LipSense Lipstick was going strong by the end of the day. Actually, at 9:00 I still had this perfect color on my lips.
That’s all folks! Have the best weekend! I’ll be back on Monday with TBB Spread the Love Gift Exchange Post!
Be blessed! ~ Carrie
