Hey there friends! Hope you had a lovely Thanksgiving! Are you ready for December to arrive? It’s here in just a couple of days and I for one am ready for it. The beauty of the Christmas season is always a perfect way to close out a year. Let it wash over you and embrace every sweet moment and opportunity to love and spread kindness.
Now, I have a public service announcement - listen to your mama. Your mom does know best and I for one know that mine does for sure. She reads my blog and noticed that I was not wearing enough color near my face and I was neglecting jewel tones which are “my colors”. So I listened to my mom and moved toward getting those jewel tones out of my closet and into my daily looks.
The jewels tones might not be closest to my face but I’m working on it. Just getting them on my body made me feel more myself and confident. I added the pop of color with some bright pink lipstick. That was another confidence booster!
I recently purchased these pants at Banana Republic and thought I could definitely wear them to the office. They are five pocket style but so easy to dress up. No one even knew they probably fall into the “jeans” category. Win!
I guess my sassy self was coming out in this one. Good catch, hubby!
