Exciting day here friends! Whitney and I are bringing back a weekly link-up! Every Monday we’ll be for you to link-up your posts and please know they DO NOT have to only style focused. We want to see your life, food, fitness, crafts…you name it and you link it. Drum roll for the introduction of A Beautiful Melange. Melange - a French word for mixture, medley, assortment, which is exactly what we hope to see from you.
What else is going on today is our remixing a dress prompt. I’ve had a little grey sheath in my closet for a few years and have remixed it like 200+ times. Well, not that many but A LOT. Today might be the last look I can create. Maybe not but I’ve remixed it so much in the past I’m wondering what’s ahead in the future. This is the new look today. Grey sheath, black blazer + grey booties. Simple and structured and my go-to style looks typically include things in that vein.
Again, this was another windy day in Texas. I’m so baffled by the weather. Typically, our really windy season is the Spring but lately we cannot get a day that isn’t blustery. I’m truly not a fan. Blue sunny skies with little or no clouds and maybe a little breeze gets me to a happy place.
That being said, pictures were a minimum on this day but the archives are full of looks. I have featured this dress many times on the blog. It is a remixing work horse. Truthfully, I purchased this dress in the early summer 2014 for $10.00 on sale at Old Navy. Have I gotten my money out of this little number. A resounding YES! It’s still going strong and still being worn, I’m happy to report.

Well, guess what? Whitney picked out a dress for me from Rosegal. She commented that she would love to see how I would remix it. So I now have a challenge before me. Here’s the beauty.
This shade of green is simply gorgeous. The sweetheart neckline is elegant which had me reaching for a statement necklace and pearls seemed to the be best option. One thing I have noticed about dresses from Rosegal that is important to me is the quality of fabric. This dress is made to hold its shape and drape properly. It will not be wrinkled at the end of the day and because I like structure that is important to me.
We’ll see what happens in the future with remixing options for this pretty little number. I believe it’s still available on Rosegal and it would be perfect for upcoming spring and summer wedding season. You can find it here. Thanks, Whitney for the great find!
Alrighty, friends! You are welcome to add your links with us today! Remember this link up is not just for style. Following us on social media would be wonderful and much appreciated. Spreading the word of our linkup would be amazing!
Hope your Monday is OUTSTANDING!
