Do we all just wait for Easter to wear something pretty and new? For as long as I can remember, Easter signaled that Spring was definitely here and the time to wear something fresh and bright. Although I also remember growing up in Iowa and looking out my window on Easter morning only to be greeted by snow. I may have cried. I may have gotten back into bed and pulled the blankets up over my head. I don’t remember exactly what I did but I remember being extremely disappointed.
Fortunately, living in Texas I’m quite confident I won’t wake up to snow on Easter morning. Hopefully, it will be warm and I can wear this little dress when I head out the door to church that morning.
Zaful gifted this dress to me and I must say that I really like the soft feminine look of it. The print is so soft as well and the lace type trim continues to exude femininity. I really need more femininity in my wardrobe. I realize when I wear more feminine pieces my demeanor changes. I am softer in my attitude. Does that happen to you?
The back is also lovely.
The print isn’t a typical floral but I love that it’s in that vein and yet very subtle. You know me…I’m all about the neutrals even though I am trying to change. Old habits are sometimes hard to break.
Because this dress is really lightweight it will perfectly transition into summer. On a cooler day I would add this denim jacket and wear these booties. But in the summer it’s totally going to be worn with sandals.
