Confession time. Today’s look, today’s dress is one I purchased previously and returned. A couple of weeks later I went back to Old Navy to purchase it again. Didn’t take the plunge. And then…I saw Jennie from A Pocketful of Polka Dots in this post and decided I take the plunge again. Yep, I repurchased. Is that a word? Not sure but I’m going with it.
Here’s my question: Do you do this? Are you indecisive on clothing purchases or do you have regrets and return items? Ever? Often? Sometimes I struggle to make decisions and not just clothing but any decision. I really can be indecisive. Sometimes I’m just afraid of making a mistake. Oh, perfectionism you have tripped me up for years. But then I make the purchase, bring it home and put it on. My hubby loved it. I loved it! It was a keeper!
This is what I wore to work on Monday. Maybe it was a little more casual than I planned but I do have that flexibility at my office. I’m thinking I might take advantage of that in the future. It will help me to have a more cohesive wardrobe.
For me, this dress is able to cross those lines between work and casual. For work, I would always have some type of completer piece like a sweater or jacket. But for a date night those things are gone and it’s bare shoulder time.
Can’t wait for summer to wear this to almost everywhere! It will be nice and cool on those hot Texas days! This dress is still on sale at Old Navy. It comes in other colors and prints too.
