Hey there! It’s me again! I can’t help myself this week. I had some extra free time and put together a few more outfits over the long Thanksgiving weekend. Since it’s finally fall in Texas, I’m feeling a little more creative so it’s to my closet for a little time of remixing.
I think I talked about my dislike of mustard {the condiment} here on the blog before. It’s true. I still loathe that kind of mustard. But I adore golden mustard as color in the style world. I think it can be such a versatile color that mixes well with black and navy, which I’m featuring here today. But it will also mix with dark green, burgundy and grey to name just a few. If you currently don’t have this color in your wardrobe, you might consider adding it.
I almost forgot about these black skinny jeans but when I was perusing my closet, there they were. Oh, how I love the fit of these jeans. They fit well and are the kind of jeans that make me feel confident because they fit well. Ladies, fit is king, isn’t it?
I feel the same way about this sweater. The fit/structure/color all mix together as a perfect piece from Zaful.
Golden mustard and black is a great combo but navy and mustard is just as good.
This skirt is from my summer wardrobe but I love that it’s versatile enough to cross into fall. I also was sparked to do a little pattern mixing which brought in a few more colors to this look.
This sweater is another item I received from Zaful. It is available in this color and light grey. I am wearing a small. The cut of this sweater is one that I typically like because it is not super long. It also has room to wear something underneath and still be comfortable. The sleeves aren’t bell but they are roomy. It’s just a fun sweater to have in my wardrobe.
Have I convinced you that there is good golden mustard out there? I hope so! Enjoy the day, sweet readers.
