Happy Thanksgiving Week! Are you ready for some turkey with all the fixing? As I type this I can almost smell the pumpkin pie baking in the oven. YUM! I hope your week is filled with family, friends, food and love! The holidays are here and it’s time to embrace the sweetness of the season. Oh, be blessed dear readers! We have much to be thankful for and in that we can all Rejoice!
What are you wearing for Thanksgiving dinner? Me? I’ll probably in something very casual because my husband and I will helping to serve a community Thanksgiving dinner. I cannot wait! That is something that fits me well and I totally enjoy!
But for today I’m featuring a look that is the extreme for me or “on the fringe” so to speak. I have written about being hesitant when it comes to trends, so this look is out of the box for me.
A sweater with fringe is not something I gravitate toward but the color combination of this one sparked my interest. I love the neutrals and thought it was subtle enough to wear for a casual weekend look but sophisticated enough to wear with pants or a pencil skirt to the office.
And the floppy hat…just plain fun. Guess what? My hubby took a double take on this look and said he loved it when I wear hats. To be honest, I do like wearing hats. Ladies, you have to have confidence and just rock it when you wear a hat. His encouragement to me helped get me excited about wearing this hat. Ladies, you can do it too! If you’ve never worn one in the past, try it out this fall and winter. Be bold! You’ll be glad you did!
My trendy and bold pieces are from Rosegal. I have to admit I am kinda loving their site. I have found some trendy pieces that allow me to take some risks without breaking the bank. I think that’s a win/win!
Be bold - embrace a trend - wear a hat! Go for it, ladies! You have nothing to lose and lots to gain when you try something new.
The fringe sweater is here and the floppy hat is here. Neither piece will break the bank, friends.
Hope you have a lovely day!
