Mustard Remix + Link-Up

As I’m working through the pieces I’ve kept for my Winter Seasonal Capsule, I’m featuring a mustard cardigan today. I was challenged to put together a look using a graphic tee just other day and I decided to put it under my mustard cardigan. A simple, quick and easy look that I can wear to work and of course on a weekend when I’m out running errands. I decided to create two other simple looks with the cardigan to feature today.

This reminds me that my words for this year {simplify, satisfied and stewardship} are playing out as I get dressed. Here’s how:

  • Simplify - These looks were simple to create and still looked put together.
  • Satisfied - I am content wearing each of these looks.
  • Stewardship - No new purchases but simply wearing what I already own.

Did you know that a cardigan can easily be buttoned up? I added a scarf for another simple and easy look.

And of course a blouse always works with a cardigan.

Three looks from one cardigan found in my Winter Seasonal Capsule. I love cardigans because they are just so versatile and basic colors can be remixed in so many ways.

And since it’s Monday, it’s time for our link-up. Thanks to everyone who joined in last week. Whitney, Casey and I enjoyed reading your posts and searching for our favorite looks. Can’t wait to see what you lovely ladies link up this week.

Each week we choose a favorite…check out Casey & Whitney’s blogs to see if it’s you! My favorite this week is a post by Shellie from The FABulous Journey entitled Wearing Belts After 40. Shellie gave some great tips and examples for wearing belts {after 40} but I think her ideas are helpful all around. Hope you enjoy her post. Read it here.

Now let’s get linking! We like to keep things simple around here. Just link up your favorite posts-fashion, beauty, food, DIY, anything goes! Follow your hosts on social media, have fun and be inspired! Thanks for linking up!WehaveaddedaPinterest boardwherewe’llbepinninglooksandanInstagram hashtag. Feel free to add #lovelylittlealamodetoyourlooksonInstagram that you link up with us.

Before I end today’s post, I want to share with you that I have embarked on a no shopping journey from January-March {at least}. This is helping me to focus and appreciate what I already own in my closet. If you would like to join in the Facebook group, it’s not too late. You can sign up below to be added to the group, “Let’s Be Shop Free for 3.”
