Hey there, friends! It’s me! I’m trying to get to blogging. June was a butt kicker for me as we were selling a home, packing and buying another home. I also had some major projects and events going on at work, so I was totally distracted from blogging and my computer. But I made a commitment to link up each month with Anne in Residence and her co-host (Shelly from The Queen in Between) for Currently. So here I am… I made it!
I want to wish you a Happy 4th, friends! I hope you have some fun plans to celebrate our freedom and our country. Enjoy this day and if you have time, take a breathe and reflect on your blessings. It does a heart good!
Celebrating ~ Today I’m planning to celebrate the gift I have to be a citizen of this country. Good and bad, it’s still home and I love being an American. The agenda for today is a little exercise, a great parade, time with friends at a BBQ and pool. Finishing the night with fireworks and patriotic music. I’m excited about all of it!
Visiting ~ I would like to be visiting the beach or some place far away and interesting but no can do right now. Maybe later that will actually happen.
Baking ~ I wish I had planned ahead and made some Patriotic snacks and/or goodies for the BBQ and pool day.
Wearing ~ I’m wearing my summer uniforms most of the time - skirts and dresses at work, workout wear and shorts with tank tops everywhere else I go. Oh, and sandals are the only thing touching my feet when it’s hot outside.
I think I would love to add this dress to my closet. Sleeveless and polka dots, yes, please!
I’ve been wearing these shorts everywhere. I never thought I would like longer shorts but surprisingly I really do! 
Loving ~ I am loving waking up every morning in our new home. I told some of my co-workers that I feel like I’m in a hotel. I love hotels! Here is where I call home…Hotel Carson!
