Currently: March 2018

I love the simplicity of a monthly Currently post. Thanks to Anne in Residence with making the idea and link up happen the first Wednesday of every month. Be sure to stop by her blog and read the posts that are linked up. They are always fun reads!

Planning ~ We are planning to do a few updates to our home this year. Since the tax man cometh, we are waiting and bracing for the blow of how much we owe before we commit to how much and when we will start our updates. Kitchen counters are up first as well as a new sink and cooktop. I’m super excited about this stuff! But then…we saw this at IKEA and fell in love. Stay tuned.

We are also planning to pick up this little girl and make her a part of our little family. By the time this post goes live she will probably be spending her days and nights as our new little puppy. Meet Gracey!

Seeing ~ I wish I was seeing more signs of Spring - like green grass and flowers {bluebonnets}. Instead, I’ve seen lots of rain which can signify Spring but I’m not a fan of rainy days.

Making ~ Since I have decided to be more creative this year and learn some crafty stuff, I’m making plans to take a hand-lettering class. March 10th is the date and I’m super excited!

Pretending ~ I’m pretending I’m not as out of shape as I really am at this moment. As 2018 began, I had some serious fitness goals. Then my husband was sick with two rounds of sinus infections and I got the flu. Other complications of work schedules and life have prevented us from getting to the gym on a daily basis for much of January and February. So who am I kidding? I cannot pretend any longer that I am at ground zero. March is when the rubber will hit the road for me as I get back on the horse of exercise.

Wearing ~ I’m still wearing winter style and I’ve decided to make myself be content in that through the end of March or at least until the 20th {first day of Spring}. There may be days that dictate more Spring type attire but I will be content. A few of my favorite looks lately.

What’s up with you Currently?

Have a great day, friends! ~ Carrie
