Snakes or Snakeprint

Good morning, Sunshine! Trying to surprise you today and post on a Monday. No, I’m not surprising you with snakes but instead a snake print blouse. Sounds better and is much better for the blood pressure. Unless of course you are a snake lover. I for one am not and actually I get quite over-excited and anxious at the thought of crossing paths with one of them.

But I do tend to have a special spot for animal print. If you’ve been around here much, you know I love a good leopard print. But today there’s no leopard print. Instead I’m mixing it up with snake print.

Today it’s a trouser look with this dressy snake print blouse. I love to mix a dressy top or blouse with a great pair of trousers. For me, I look no further than The Limited to find a pair I love.

After I put this on, I began to wonder about it. Does this blouse have the pizazz that I thought it did? Does it wow me anymore? Does it wow you {please tell me honestly in the comments}!

I decided to go back into the archives and see how I wore it before. First up is from last fall/winter with a look from work {2015}. My favorite skinny jeans and of course they came home with from The Limited.

blazer+blouse

Next up was the fall/winter the year before {2014}. Another casual look with a different trouser, which are not from The Limited and not a fave. But, I love denim trousers regardless!

Same year {2014} but a work look. I also have a love of brown pants but have come to realize this style {Cassidy from The Limited} are not the most flattering on me. They fit a bit too loose and I’ve struggled for years with wearing clothes too big SO I’m taking the plunge and purging that style from my wardrobe. It’s just gotta fit well, ladies. Having said that, I would still recommend pants from The Limited. It’s my go to.

So friends, what’s your thoughts on this blouse? Would you want it in your closet? Would you wear it?

Have a great day and enjoy your Monday!

  • I do think that this top works really well in your wardrobe (based on all of the pictures) but maybe since you've worked it so well, it's not new or exciting anymore? On a side note, I strongly dislike snakes. There was one in my sister's driveway in Nashville this summer when I was there with mom and we really didn't know what to do with it!
  • This top is so versatile and looks fabulous on you! Love seeing the different ways to style. Mary www.marymurnane.com
  • yup, it's settled, you can NEVER get rid of that shirt!!! You style it so perfectly and it looks great on you!
  • I love this blouse on you. I'm not a fan of snakes, and I even tend to shy away from snake print. But it looks really lovely on you!
  • I love that print...I think I would scared to wear it, mostly because I don't like snakes. They are too slimey. You, however, are super cute.
