2015 ~ A Year in Review + Link-Up

Today I’m featuring my favorite looks from 2015. I picked one look from each month. In the end, I found it very interesting that some of these looks will not be featured again because in my massive closet purge, I gave away many of these pieces.

Does that sounds a little strange? How can they be favorite looks and yet I let some of those pieces go? Well, I found that even though I like the looks I’m featuring today I realized not all of them embodied my style. I’ve been mentioning lately that I got a little lost with my style. At times over the last year or so I found myself dressing for others or for posts rather than for me. What eventually happened is I looked in my closet at lots of pieces I didn’t like or did not even wear. Those pieces wrecked havoc on my ability to actually get dressed and wear things that I loved which embodied my style. It was time for a change.

And what happened? The purge! And that purge opened up the doors of freedom for me. 2015 was a style evolution and revolution for me. I hope 2016 will be a year of focus. It’s opening up to be a year of words. Words and ideas which I will post about this month. So grab your coffee each morning in January as I reveal what’s been on my heart and where I’m headed this year. I am thrilled to be sharing all of this with you. For now, I’ll just close the book on last year’s style and move into something new this year.
