And just like that, summer arrived in full force! We have officially hit over 100 degrees already and it’s definitely early for us in North Texas. So here we are at Summer Lovin’.
You know what happens on the first Monday of the month, right? It’s TBB Asks and it’s Summer Lovin’ time. I really enjoy these posts because it is super fun to learn more about so many of the sweet bloggers out there. Here goes:
1. Walk or ride a bike? These days it’s walking for me because I no longer own a bike but growing up I was riding the bike everywhere.
2. My favorite picnic food has to be watermelon. Sticky and messy? Yes, but oh, so delicious and refreshing.
3. Pool or Lake? I enjoy both but a pool is more appealing to me.
4. Favorite ice cream flavor? Coffee or Cookies - n - Cream and alway Blue Bell.
5. Give me the ice cream in a cone and sugar or waffle is just fine with me.
6. Flip flops or slides? Love both but slides tend to slide off of my feet.
7. Always denim shorts not capris for this gal. These are my fave…and why don’t I have that kimono anymore?
8. Favorite summer fruit has got to be mangoes.
9. This Iowa girl always wants the corn on the cob.
10. The official song for me is Kenny Chesney’s Summertime.
11. The best summertime activity to me is escaping to the beach somewhere.
12. I LOVE all the berries…all of them!
13. I typically have been wearing two-piecers or bikini’s but I’m about the make the change to something else in the swimsuit department. Haven’t decided yet what it will be though.
14. I love both dresses and skirts in the summer - for work = dresses, and skirts for casual date night.
15. One word for summer is sunshine.
