Favorite Floral + Link-up

Hello friends! Here we are at Monday again! I hope you have a fabulous week starting with today! Last week I started it with a floral look which I totally loved. It made a fabulous Monday for me. Not only did it feel like spring but the colors were cheery. That made me realize I have way TOO much black and grey in my wardrobe. Something has got to give on this. I need color!I plan to add a few pieces with color to my wardrobe during the month of April.

For today’s post I thought I would step back again into last March and pull a couple of looks with floral to feature. Sure enough I had a little floral and pink too!

Guess what? I don’t own any of these pieces anymore. None of them made it through the purge. I kept the rings and that is it! There have been times I have looked back and had a twinge of regret when letting things go but I can say that isn’t so with these pieces.

I found another floral look and the top I had worn that made me feel like it was spring. Last year I did a little pattern mixing with this floral top. Not a fan of this look but I kept these pieces. If you’ve been a follower you know I was about to purge these windowpane pants but many of your comments caused me to rethink that choice. They are still in my closet.

Here’s my new look for this spring. I think it really embodies pieces, color and a look that I love. Isn’t it fun to take pieces that you love and create new looks? It’s always interesting that I can actually take favorite pieces and mix them to create a look I love and then one I don’t. This is good thing to remember when you’re purging. They key? Create, create, create and then try them on…and try them on again. Don’t make a quick decision.

I actually love this look. Isn’t that just the best? When you put together something that works for you and you love? That tends to be one a Best Day Ever scenerio!

What’s in your closet, friends? Do you have a piece you like but haven’t found the right combination yet? Don’t give up! Keep trying because you might find something you love!

And since it’s Monday, it’s time for our link-up. Thanks to everyone who joined in last week. Whitney and I enjoyed reading your posts and searching for our favorite looks. Can’t wait to see what you lovely ladies link up this week.

First of all, love the elegant and feminine new blog design. Secondly, such great outfits with florals. I am glad you kept the windowpane pants. You have worn them a lot. You know I own a pair, also. Too bad the pieces on the first outfit didn't make it from your purge because they are all beautiful and that is my first outfit of the three. I just love the scarf and earrings. Always a pleasure stopping by. Please come by on Thursdays and link up with me. Thanks.
