I was super excited when ShopSvelte reached out to me and asked if I would consider reviewing a pair of the leggings. Their offer came just at the time when I was working on creating a more versatile one wardrobe while trying to incorporate more leggings. Perfect timing wouldn’t you say?
As I perused their site I found great options to choose from and settled on a pair that were not the traditional black nor were they ponte. I know this is a little stepping on the wild side for me. Joking and yet not joking!
What did I chose? A gorgeous pair of cotton twill leggings in a beautiful shade of merlot. I could not have made a better choice! These leggings are a perfect fit and mix with about everything in my wardrobe.
A cotton twill legging was the perfect option because I think they are not too casual to wear to work and yet can be casual enough on the weekend.
I chose to mix them with a basic sweater and my favorite vest, which made it’s appearance out of the closet this weekend when the temps dipped to the 30’s here in North Texas. A bit chilly for us thin blooded peeps.
I love the little slit at the hemline of these leggings to give them just a little extra touch of something different in a legging.
ShopSvelte has many other options to choose from on their website. They have leggings in cotton spandex, ponte, leather and denim plus other items. But be sure to know they have a special built-in shapeware that prevents muffin tops and evens out bulges. That my friend is a plus for all of us ladies!
I found the shapeware to be comfortable and helped to do exactly what they claimed. It gave me just a little extra tummy control which is always helpful to bring about some confidence.
