The first Friday of 2018 is here! I’m going to make it through the work week after all. It was only four days and I totally wish they were all this way but unfortunately that is not my reality. So glad you’re here today friends because I have something special to share with my faves. It’s number one so please check it out!
One of my favorite colors is red and yet if you peek into my closet you would find scant amounts of it. I have a couple of red winter coats but other than those items the reds are surely lacking. Why? This is the question I ask myself. Is it that I can’t find red pieces I like or do I shy away because of its bold which draws attention to myself? Hmmm…food for thought!
But I love Christmas with all of the red everywhere. I adore the reds and pink that we are starting to see for Valentine’s Day. In honor of red I’m sharing some red favorites for this first Friday of 2018.

I love this red blazer from Banana Republic but it doesn’t come in petites. Boo…I would love to mix this little number with other pieces in my wardrobe.

I love this look for the office. It just screams, I am totally put together and confident.

Have I ever mentioned that my mom’s nickname is Chick? Most people think that’s her real name. When I saw this little decor item it made me think of her.

My grandma’s favorite bird was the cardinal. I’ve noticed a few lately in my neighborhood and it immediately made me think of her. She was an incredible lady! I thought I might want to collect a few items with cardinals to remind me of her. Loved this photo of one in the snow.
