Happy New Year!

Hello, January! Wow, it’s here! Happy New Year, friends. I’m so glad that you’re here today as we enter 2016. And YAY for a Happy New Year!

January can bring with it blustering cold days and the absence of sunshine, which for me are the perfect storm to cause hibernate. Yet at the same time it’s a new year and I don’t want to miss out on an opportunity for a restart in many areas of life. Restarts get me pumped! Are you ready for a restart?

I for one am looking forward to a new focus, new goals, etc. It’s time to restart, recharge and refocus. I’m planning to post often {read daily} during the month the January with lots of ideas to encourage you and spur you on as 2016 opens. I hope this month will be a fun and informative journey!

For me, it all started with words. I’ve been thinking about a word/phrase/focus for 2016. Have you ever done that or thought about it? Times of reflection have continued to bring words to the surface for me. Originally, I wanted to choose one word but three just kept coming up so I just settled on three words that embodied my focus. Here’s the reveal:

  1. SIMPLIFY {or simplicity} I’m striving to simplify my life in a variety of areas.
  2. SATISFIED {or contentment} I’m striving to be satisfied/content with what I already own.
  3. STEWARDSHIP {or steward or curator} I’m striving to use what I own and my money wisely.

    • Can't wait to see what you decide on. I really was focused on simplify but I just couldn't get away from the other two. I guess I'm just odd because most people choose one word. Who knows I might have messed up my entire year by choosing three. LOL Thanks for stopping by!
