Good morning, Sunday! It’s the start of a new week and a time to look back and recap some favorites I saw and read last week.
1. Can I just give a shout out to my dear friend Whitney? I’m going to because I love her styling prompt Striped and Typed. She incorporated her blog name and her passion for the French language {she’s a French teacher}. She rocked it all! Plus I love this casual look with sneakers.

2. I recently stumbled upon a new blog. The Paleo Running Momma is turning my favorite food upside down. I can’t stop finding fabulous recipes. This breakfast taco salad looks delicious. I’ve only cooked with plantains one time but I’m all about trying them again. I’ve noticed she uses them often. You can check out this recipe {here}.

3. My hubby and I were discussing phone cases the other day. He just happened to drop his phone and unfortunately the case was not as protective as we had thought it would be. Alas a trip to T-Mobile and few hundred dollars later {even with insurance} and he had a new phone in hand. Lesson learned…I mentioned I really would like to have a pretty phone case instead of the basic {boring} white and black version that I’ve had forever. I was on Pinterest and found this pin. So pretty! The pin lead me to this website {here} for caseify.com. Lots of really cute options are available.
4. I was perusing Mrs. American Made on Instagram the other day. Okay, maybe I was stalking but perusing sounds so much better don’t you think? Anyway, I saw a picture of a DIY project so I headed to her blog and found it. She changed some basic black flats into the most sought after type of shoes out there right now. You can read the post {here}.
5. Last Tuesday was the debut of a monthly link-up called Ageless Style. I was so excited to collaborate with another fabulous group of ladies. If you haven’t checked it out yet, you can find the link {here}.
That’s all I have for this week of favorites. Check back tomorrow when I’ll be linking up with my friend Shaunacey at Simply Shaunacey for another recap of being grateful.
Have a beautiful day and don’t forget to give some love to your momma!
