Whatever is Lovely #15

Good morning Sunday! New day, first day of new week. I know many of us are in the middle of a holiday weekend - Memorial Day - which ushers in Summer. I’m confident the lakes and beaches are filled with people enjoying time by the water. Others might just be in their backyards enjoying some BBQ. But where you are, I hope you remember the meaning of Memorial Day {a day on which those who died in active military service are remembered, traditionally observed on May 30 but now officially observed on the last Monday in May}.

What caught my eye this week? Well, here’s a quick run down of the top five.

1. Tania at 50 Is Not Old talked about the importance of color this week. I could not agree more! Color changes my attitude and that is what she was saying in this post. She looks pretty in color!

2. Yvonne at Funky Forty shared about African style on her blog. Yes…more color and gorgeous prints. You can read her post here.

3. Alice at Happiness at Mid-Life posted a perfectly executed pattern mixed look. Stripes and leopard print with red and black. What’s not to love. Check out her post here.

Okay, that is it. My quick pop-in for Whatever is Lovely! Have a beautiful Sunday.

  • Self care is big on my to-do list lately! It's so hard to make it a priority sometimes but the rest of my life functions so much better when I do!
