Happy Monday and there you go with the last Monday of February. Upward and onward to March and the promise of Spring sometime soon around the corner. But before the exit of the month of love, it’s time to share about The Blended Blog Spread the Love Gift Exchange.
When the campaign was announced I zoomed over as quickly as possible to sign up. Why? Well, I confess I’m not the best gift giver but I simply adore the idea of a gift exchange. It’s a fun way to shower someone with something special.
Once the sign up closed, I was given the name of my person. I was super excited to receive Lisa Richardson from Coast to Coast. She had been reading my blog and leaving comments but I could not find her blog. As soon as I saw her name with her blog link, I headed over there to get to know her better.
After perusing her blog, I knew exactly what I wanted to give her. I headed out and picked up exactly what was in my little brain. Wrapped it up and sent it off. Then oops, I woke up one morning and realized I left the price tag on the gift. Oh no!!! It happens. It’s done. Nothing I could do about it. But dang…I just felt super crappy about that snafu.
Then one day in my mailbox was a gift from Lisa. So perfect. She definitely has a flair for presentation and gifts. {I need more of this in my life}! I was so thrilled when I opened this little box and found these fabulous items.
She could not have put together anything more perfect for me. Candy, jewelry, hand lotion, a sweet note…my day was made perfectly by Lisa.
I love chocolate {and there were more but oops again, I ate some before snapping pictures}. The hand cream is on my desk at work and perfect for this time of year. The little dish has my initials, which was super thoughtful. LOVE it! Did Lisa know I have been looking for more bracelets because my collection is pretty awful right now?!
Isn’t this the cutest little dish? I don’t think I have anything else with my initials. So so special! I have it on my desk at work. Why? For little chocolates, of course.
